Nice pick up there! Would love to find one personally for cheap, even though I'm not much into bikes I would have a blast riding it and all the looks on state land .

Sticking the 350x in there is an idea but I'd be surprised if it'd fit. Plus, you might kill it's value by doing it. Many people are real happy with a Fat Cat that runs as it should. Get it running and rip it up and see if you still need more power. Even then, just get something bigger like my DR350 BW conversion.

well hit it with a little starting fluid to see if it would even fire and it did .so dropped it off at my buddies shop and we will go from there .
Looking for an air filter cage .
I don't know a lot about the fat cats, but you could buy a K&N filter that fits in the air box. It shouldn't need the center metal peice then.
You can get repro fenders(front and rear, but not the sides) from dc plastics or some place in cali, can't remember who had them
I have 2 side covers (1 good, one poor) and a pair of fork boots if you need em. Also have a battery hold down bracket.

If anyone comes across a few nos side covers let me know I Got a friend looking for at least 2 sets. Those side covers are a real pain to find.
Yeah, a key might keep yer friends from jumping on it
(like they do here on the farm)
but I've never seen one anywhere close to a thousand dollars, let alone hundreds.
I so tempted to try and make one out of a 90 or 110 since they're so rare.
Wonder why they don't make them anymore?
or is that a whole other topic?
I would guess a whole other topic, but I'll stab at it. Dirt bikes with the tall skinny tires go fast, jump hills, mx race etc really well, the fat cats can do what better than the ones with skinny tires? Mud bog? Snow riding might be a big plus. I suspect the market for them isn't that big, so no company wants to risk making them any more. There might be a reason why they are rare, not many sold? Just going off from the tiny bit I know about them, don't shot me!
Yeah i live 500 yds from oneida lake. So it would be a cool lake ride. Already has studded tires.
I have owned a lot of them (#14 for sale right now) and their main attraction is Honda brand, novice level ride-ability: auto clutch, short stance, easy to keep balanced. However, they are heavy as h3ll, so dumping them on uneven terrain makes them a liability.
I never have a hard time selling them, though, so I think their rarity is due to the small production number. My #1 demographic is old guys (50-65) and husbands wanting something for the wife to ride off-road.

Still looking for an air filter and cage and where to get brake cables.
I have heard people speak of a 250x but have never seen one... Do they exist?
