    My 1985 1/2 Tri-Z

B]So I finally got my Tri-Z done, well almost. I have spent alot of time replacing the rear carrier bearings, and the front hub bearings. Now I think the swingarm needle bearings need replaced, but this may be a job as the pivot bolt is frozen in place. It runs great, but no matter what I do, it still runs rich. I am mixing 32:1, adjusted the carb ect....but still seems like alot of smoke...Best part is, I picked this up on craigslist as a non-runner. for 525.00 with a new set of rear tires that I sold for 60.00. As it sits now I have an additional 200.00 in it, plus my time powdercoating. It is stock except for the banshee hubs and 10" Wheels. Oh yea and the answer silencer off a YZ. Its not perfect, but a great rider...its wicked fast. So what do you think? I recusitated a legend.[/B]

    Nice machine.

I really need to get started on my new trail Z build.
Even though I ride the R now,I still think the Z is the best looking trike on the planet.....
Here is where my long useless list of stuff nobody cares about should go...

Very nice indeed. Around spring time I think I'm going to keep an eye out for one. That will be a nice addition to my collection. I actually know of a good deal for a pretty nice one right now but I am letting a freind buy it. I just bought 84 ATC70, 83 ATC70, 84 ATC250R, 85 Tecate and 84 TT600 within the last month or 2 so I need to chill. lol.
I had a TRI-Z with a YZ465 motor but it was slow, pretty much sucked. Sometimes I think I should have kept it and turned it back to stock. Oh well, I'll get another.

That is a nice Tri-Z, makes me wish i still had mine. Mine was an 85 also but yellow and black. Hopefully this spring i will be able to find a Tri-z for around a grand or less like i payed for my old Tri-z. And i agree it is the best looking trike.
