    400EX wheels on a 200X?

I got a set of stock rear wheels and tires from my sister-in-law's old 400EX that I plan to mount on my '85 200X. What lug nuts are needed for this upgrade? The 400EX wheels have the centering style holes, where my current wheels are just holes with regular nuts. Thanks.

I priced them at Motoworld...$4.35 a piece! There has got to be a better avenue to get a hold of 8 of them. Any ideas?

turn your existing lug nuts around so the flat side is against the rim, or throw a washer on there first. That will take care of it until you get some nice trick lug nuts on ebay.

Get some 250x,300ex, or 400ex hubs if you can and widen the old 200x out a bit while you're at it. I picked up hubs complete with lug nuts for next to nothing. My 200x sits probably 2 or 3" wider now.

I've got a set of brand new 300ex hubs and 300ex rims and tires on my X. The lugs came with the wheel set. I like'em, makes the trike look nicer.

    300EX hubs?

Do the 300EX hubs fit the splines on the rear, direct bolt in? That would be sweet, and they make it wider? Please get back to me...

yep they are an exact fit and with the rims it widens the stance by about 2 inches each side i think.
