If it's a 87 Honda ATC 50 please tell him i will buy his 87 Honda ATC 500R... There is no such thing as a production Honda ATC 50. Honda did have prototypes and pre-production units but the 50 never went into full production. in 87 Honda stopped producing its high performance and or/ new models planned for 87 release ( 500R, 350X, 250R, 200R, 50,) .

when the term "ATC" is used its in referance to a Honda if used correctly since ATC is a Honda registerd trademark. if it was a suzuki then it would be proper to use ALT 50...

Right--All terrain cycle was a Honda trademark for the duration of the sport.
The ATC50 was a prototype, which much like the atc500r, was dropped in '87 in favor of quad production.

ATC=Honda
TRI=Yamaha
KLT=Kawasaki
ALT=Suzuki
ATV= any motorized balloon tired personal machine, 2,3,4,5,6,or 8 wheels
and for the record there was not a Suzuki ALT 50 offered in 87 to the best of my knowlege

LISTEN I know only honda used the ATC word. I guess they only say this where I live. Like when I tell someone I have a 3wheeler. They might say- what kind of atc do you have or something. Maybe because there are a lot more honda's than any other brand that they have come to calling everything atc's . I am not saying that they call suzuki's atc 50's or atc tri-z 250 . do you guys understand now. x

one of my friends said when he was little his dad bought him a atc 50. i guess it mustv been a prototype? he also said he drove a highoutput prototype, like a 600 or somehtin like that he said. mabey he meant the 500r. :?
