    Possible to mount a Tach?

I was wondering if its possible to put a tach on my 85 250sx. I think i have seen or heard of it being done on a R or 200x, cant remember. If possible how would i hook it up and what would i need for a tach?

    Thanks in Advance!

Autometer makes a tach for single cylinder engines... they use them on jr. dragsters....I am somewhat curious of why you could possibly need a tach on a atv?

my dads old XL200 had one so im sure you would be able to put them on a trike. I should have taken the tach and speedo off it before he sold it.

Why would i need a tach on an atv? I dunno, why not lol. I guess it wouldnt be so logical for a 250sx but more so on a 250r. I just thought it would look cool if its possible.

Just get one of the smaller digital ones.
I had one on mine for a couple days, but I took it off because it was meant for 4 strokes and I had it on a 2 stroke. It looked kind of cool but really was useless when riding.
All it was, was a wire from the tach that wrapped around the plug wire.

    john,
my trike is not the prettiest but i will post up some pics. I think my next project is adjusting the valves and brakes. I seem to have a chatty lifter. I have some videos up on youtube. There is a post a made a few down about a new sx video.
