vitos or la sleeve would be a good choice for a big bore imo vitos makes a little more power. the Toomey pipe is the best and a 36-38mm flatslide carb would work good. open up the reed cage exhaust, and exchange ports and raise your ports .030 with a cylinder spacer and cut the head accordingly.you can take a little extra off the head depending if you want to run race fuel or not.

VITO's IS JUNK, You shouldn't talk about things you know nothing of dude!

Vito's does NON of thier own parts, they are built by the LOWEST BIDDER, yes, the lowest bidder, and then sold with phony HP. gains.
Be my guest if you are to stupid to do ANY research and want shabby parts on your ride! Vito's does not do any dyno runs on thier parts, they are just built and sold, try calling and asking for a tech to help you and you will see the light!

L.A. Sleeve builds ALL thier own stuff and they do a GREAT job. They ARE the best running 240 out there but the 270's will kill them!

Milled head (.070), PORT, (I mean raise the exhaust 2mm, widen it 1mm, raise all the transfer ports a mm at least, widen everthing you can and SMOOTH the exhaust port, glass beading gives the best atomization for the intake and transfer ports,) put a 38 flat on her, Reeds are about the same either way so no fuss there, and CPI has a KILLER blaster pipe if you want something with a little more rev than the toomey! You will have a hell of a runner at 200cc still. If you want to go big, skip the 240's and go 270 on alky!

Hey, I 've seen Vito's run for years, I'm not saying they wont, they are just inferior parts, and I WONT run them on anything. If you choose to go ahead. Why do you think they have the cheapest cranks out there? What tolerances do they hold them to? Call and ask a little, do a little research, they cant answer a damn thing I asked them for years, that tells me about all I need to know!

Just look at the 85-86 lt250r, a pile of crap they call a motor but I've seen them run as reliable as anything out there! IMO Vito's crap is along the same lines.

you acually think vitos dosent dyno their stuff??? what about the super stock pistons you think they cut the piston for better port timing and then sell them without any testing? by the way they are not made by the lowest bidder they are made by Wiseco.

they machine all the "thick" part off making them more vanurable to shattering... i ran vitos, and had nothing but trouble from them. iv seen many vitos shatter and fry pistons...

if your shattering and burning pistons check your piston to cylinder clearance its usually not the pistons fault i know tons of people who run or have ran vitos with great results including me...

the big bore DOES make a difference, but a finaly tuned and ported stroker 200 is wicked as well. my GFs blaster has the vitos 3mm stroker, a 80 over bore no portwork boysen reeds FMF pipe ct silencer and a keihn 32mm honda carb with open airbox, this past weekend it was killing a piped 400ex and im 250lbs, not bad for a blaster, and its not even tuned in well. That stroker crank was the best mod Ive ever have done to this machine, it gave it alot more bottom end, the clutch is even slipping like hell in this thing and it rips! also you can add a tri-z axle for more width to it (use the tri-z brake hub as well)
