    Help!! 1984 Honfa 200S valve adjustment

    Hello all,

    I need to do a valve adjustment on my Honda 200S . Can someone please tell me the spec for intake valve / exhaust valve feeler gage clearance?

    Believe its 0.002in (0.05mm)
    Gess thats for both intake and exhaust.

    Hi, I quote from the Honda owners manual in front of me: "Valve clearance should be maintained at 0.05 mm (0.002 in). Excessive clearance will cause noise and eventual loss of power. Insufficient clearance will cause loss of power and could cause valve damage."

    Check the valves when the engine is COLD! Also be sure to adjust the cam chain, just loosen the 17mm nut when the engine is running and it will auto adjust. I suggest buying an original owners manual, it has a lot of info that you won't find anywhere else on how to maintain your 3 wheeler. Part # 00X31-VM4-6200. Honda might still have them.
