    My latest score: 1981 ATC250R

Well I ran across this ATC in a guys front yard and picked it up today. I didnt really have any intentions of getting another one but I just cant pass up a deal! Just ask my wife Its in pretty good shape although it was covered in grease and dust and dirt. It is missing the right footpeg and needs a new seatcover and has a couple dents in the tank that I think I can pop out and the front fender has a couple cracks. Other then that not bad shape. It runs good and shifts great. I like the fairing on it, was this a stock honda aftermarket thing? It sure looks like it as the mounts are really nice.

Wow, that thing (aside from the missing parts) is in really good shape.

The fairing is an original Hondaline goodie. An aftermarket item, pretty rare.

How much it set you back?

Other smaller or lesser known companies, such as Tiger ATV, Franks, and Cagiva, produced racing three wheelers, but in much smaller numbers. Few of these machines are known to exist today and are highly sought by collectors.

Good score! I'll be the one to ask, how much left your wallet for that. Where did the foot peg go? I have one off of a 1982 if interested.

That looks sweet SN22 and the fairing with the bracket is worth a good 250- 400 bucks, depending on who's bidding on it, if you would ever decide to ebay it out.

I have a couple of them, only one bracket though. Took mine off long ago though, makes the R's feel bigger then they really are.

If it's cloudy or scratched you can get palstic cleaner but for a really nice job some auto body or glass places can buff it out for you.

Cool, thanks for the headsup on the windshield, it is cloudy and has 1 small crack in it by the mounting screw. I am going to try to buff it myself. A couple of the mounting screws are missing too so I am going to try to locate them too or at least something similar. I already found a footpeg thanks to a helpful fellow member here. Now I just need a seatcover and she'll be respectable looking. Does anybody make the stencils for the "Honda" lettering on the back of the seat?
As far as what she set me back it was a steal, thats why I couldnt pass it up.

Most likely you paid (if it was a steal) less then what the windsheild fairing is worth! Sell that and you got a free trike !

I don't really care what you paid for it though, you got a steal, that's all that matters

Here is what skyolincoln meant by "happy days" reguarding your "trick" trail pro up front.

    http://www.3wheelerworldforums.com/s...ight=trail+pro

Get rid of that thing !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm sure you will agree after you read all the "nice" comments about it

This was the best one ..........

" Carlisle TRAIL PRO Facts! by billy Golightly

Available at your local Walmart super center for a price so cheap that the idiot who bought them will replace even a brand new pair of holeshots with them.

Commonly refered to by the idiot purchaser as the most bad ass tire ever barring wooly boogers.

They have almost zero traction on every surface known to man, minus something like pine tar.

The tread pattern is so embarrassingly stupid it makes even Richard Simmons cringe at the sight of them.

The weight of the tire itself is indistinguishable from the iron wheels commonly found on tractors from the late 1800's.

The rubber is of such a hard compound they have been known to actually bend nails over before puncturing. In fact, Chuck Norris round house kicked a Trail Pro one time and was rewarded with a broken foot.

If the Berlin wall had been built out of Trail Pros, it'd still be standing today.
