Sorry if this is lame but I see one for sale and it has no pics. The "for sale" ad doesn't say whether it is the ASE or what.

I know this is the last year for Can-am and the ASE 500 is the only thing I see pics of on the web.

    $1100?

I thought the 1986 was the last year for that rotax motor but I'm not 100%
Wikipedia "All Terrain Vehicle" Definition excerpt
Other smaller or lesser known companies, such as Tiger ATV, Franks, and Cagiva, produced racing three wheelers, but in much smaller numbers. Few of these machines are known to exist today and are highly sought by collectors.

Yeah 1987 was the last year for the ASE 500. They didnt offer the MX 500. That picture you posted is a 350 or 250. The Tiger 500 engine is basically the same as the earlier Can-Am 500 MXs or ASEs. I will post the specs for the 87s. Sorry, the pic didnt show up very good.

Cool thanks. Same square bore x stroke. Don't think he is going to lower the price as he says it will sell fast. Looks like a cool bike. Bet finding parts is impossible.

What's it worth if it is clean and been stored properly?

If it runs good and is fairly clean, at least a grand. Mint they bring 1500.00 to 2500.00. Actually for some odd reason, the mint 250s go higher than the big bores. A guy can find alot of the basic parts for the 500, but jugs, trannys and pistons will be a Premium, if you can find them at all.
