    No. Definitely not.

    Check the throttle cable routing, too. Make sure the slide is moving quite freely.

    if its idleing high it can blow the piston. check the air/fuel mixture screw. if not that it could be the throttle cable. when i got my es running the idle was way down on the adjustment, but it was idleing high. so i checked the cable. it was twisted. fixed it now its running fine .
