    2007 Can-AM 3 wheeler

anyone else got to test ride the Spyder and Expierience the "new" 3wheelers?
wen i went to the dealer to get some KLT parts they were having a demo of it and i took a test ride ITS AWSOME. its a 990cc 2 cyl. Rotax 4 stroke, belt driven 6 speed(i think its a 6) manual transmission with reverse. its only got 1 foot brake lever to control all wheels. it has Smart ABS (not exactly sure what it does?) the Can-Am spyder may have 3 wheels but feels like a quad. only complaints are needs 2 wheels in rear 1 in front for a " classic" trike look/feel and the main complaint is a twist throttle SUCKS on it needs a thumbthrottle.

I've seen those & was wondering how they handle, but I"m with Johnny'sx- a more off road suited machine, but then wouldn't the "ban" come into play? It really pisses me off-- They'll make one for street & sell iit, but off road capable? Forget it!

Oh, when I go to the dealership and want to test drive a motorcycle usually I have to have a drivers license, a motorcycle permit, and I have to be 18 or older for insurance reasons.

They let a 16 year old with no license or permit drive a brand new Can-Am spyder down there? Thats pretty cool.

I was told that the computer will retard the ignition to keep the back end from coming around if you give it too much throttle. "No matter how much you open the throttle, the engine just blubbers till you get in a straight line." I also was told that they are able to scream past 100mph. It makes sence I mean it produces over 100hp.
