    ytm 200 fork problem

Have any of you guys run into this problem?

I was attempting to change fork oil (ytm 200k) and the left side spring seat was frozen/rusted. I put some pb blaster to it and punched it down to try to free it. it is now stuck down all the way, will not spring back up.

    what might I try??
    thanks and Happy new year!

HAHAHA, sorry I just had to laugh because I am "stuck" just like you. Unfortunately I have not figured out a solution yet so I am of little help. I have given up as of now and put the forks back on the bike. I have some extra sets that I am going to work on this week hoping to find a trick to getting them apart so I will post if I find a way. Unfortunately replacing the fork seals is even more of a pain and my forks need those done too. Anyways good luck and post if you find a way to get those caps out.

These have to be the worst design I have seen.
