My friend and I are probably going to go in for it. Its 50 bucks. Good shape. Ran over the summer. Just sitting there. Guy said we could have it for 40 because we have to travel 1 hour and 22 mins. Like how many CC's is the engine. 2 stroke or 4? Weve been wanting one for atleast 3 years now. 40 bucks is definatly a steal. I would just like to find out more about it. It sure would be a blast to screw around on in the woods. I cant wait. Im as excited as a little school boy. Should be a blast.

We had one back in the 80's. No way is it in any way shape or form a woods machine. It is nothing more then a golf cart. Somehow the governor broke on ours once and it would go dang fast.

One of my friends has one he plays with every now and then. I agree with smokin, and I don't think there is any way you could turn it into a woods machine. Unless you totally redid it. I'm pretty sure it dosn't run unless you press the gas pedel. It just starts up and goes when you press the gas.

Yes that is correct as soon as you let off the gas it dies and then restarts whent eh pedal is pushed again.

How do you plan on making it a woods machine? I see it more as a beer wagon at TF.

Well its not really going to be a woods machine per say. My families old friend had one. He just drove though the woods with it. We have old wagons trails. But for 40 bucks why not. My cousin owns a small engine shop. He did up a old golf cart and the think flew. We just want it to screw around on. My cousin is a damn good machanic and he could probably make it go pretty good. We just want something to cuise around on and have fun. I just want to know more about this machice.

Yep, my dad had one back in the 80's. Don't remember much about it, but I"m pretty sure it was a 4 stroke. But I agree with the others, it would take a LOT of work to make this thing a trail machine. But it's still pretty cool and I"d definately give 40 bucks for it.

I had one. mine was a 1981. It was made by AMF when they owned Harley. Thing ran like 4 summers on a tank of gas. The gas tank is huge. Mine ran fairly well. Traded a lawn mower for it. I went thru a few carburetors and starter belts. Other than that there bullet proof. Not a woods machine. Mine didnt have a govenor. Mine also had reverse. They go like hell.

I took our EZgo 3wheeled golf cart on mild trails at TF06 ( only thing I could ride ). Yea, I did have trouble on some, but we were able to get around ( I hauled the Photographer around ). And yes it did make one heck of a beer cart as well.

TO turn it into a woods machine, you can lift them (fabbing required on something that old), and put some larger tires and rims on them. Actually, because of the weight, being light that is, they are pretty good woods machines.

We like golf carts down here in FL, they are GREAT in the sand becuase they are so light. Put high floatation tires on and you are set. I have a locking rear differential in mine, and being gas powered, it is darn near unstopable. The only thing that will get you is DEEP water. Belt slips.
