Just a few hours ago we got a 01 Chevy on 36's stuck in a mud hole, then a 2002 surburbin on 36's tryed to pull him out and just barried himself in the sand next to the mud hole. With the strap tight between the 2 a 91 chevy comes and ties onto the suburbin. 35foot strap, he nails it for 30 feet is doin about 15 or 20 mph when it tightens up. suburbin pops out snaps the rope between the 01 chevy and i yell GIT IT RAGGGG!!!

That thread isn't terribly helpful for getting a clear answer. It seems as though many say it now (obviously im new so can't say for sure) out of respect/rememberance for the one who started it. But what I took from that was that Rag may or may not have meant trike, and that the whole phrase of git it Rag, was used s a term of encouragement/excitement like git er done, or when people yell yeaaaaah buddy. Am I even close?
