    blaster clutch problems

a buddy of mine has a blaster and is clutch slips real bad. we went riding last weekend (he probably shouldnt be riding it like this) well i got on it for a while and it is realy bad. first off you can only start in nuetral because his clutch lever doesnt realy start to disangage untill the lever hits the handle bars and even then its not enough to start it in gear becuase it jumps forward a little. so to start it it has to be in nuetral and you have to rev it so when you shift into gear it slipps the clutch long enough for it to take off. well when your riding it you cant give it to much gas becase it hits the powerband and just revs like crazy. its realy bad he can barly spin the tires on loose gravel. do you guys think he just needs a new clutch kit?
