    More carb problems...

My 110 will start up and idle fine but whenever you give it throttle (even 1/4) it will shut off and die. The main jet was a 85. I tried a 89 and a 95. Theres NO difference at all.. It will still sputter out and die. Could it be something with the float bowl or pilot? And theres no air leaks anywhere.

-all it has is a cobra exhaust and was just rebuilt.. And its smoking again.

no not the float needle. The needle that attaches to the slide.

Dont touch any needles yet. Go and clean your carb or get a rebuild kit. Your pilot jet is probably clogged.

Also make sure the fuel is flowing out in a steady stream out of the petcock. Also make sure the carb bowl is filling up. the gas line can get clogged too.

I have 2 feul filters on the fuel lines. I did adjust the float bowl and it ran better but fouled a plug. So now its running rich. So im going to try cleaning it to night and we'll see from there.

check your choke, those desgined engines ,50/70/90/110/125 had problems with breaking the chocke spring , my 70 and my cousins 70 done it so u mite have to buy a full chock kit if thats the problem, or just fix it, but check casue that was a flaw with those engines im pretty sure

The choke is fine. I took everything apart and the choke opens and closes good. But i cleaned it out and it ran decent for a min then shut off. When i tried to pull it a few times the started snapped back and sprained my wrist After that it just smoked a little? And its just been rebuilt 2 times this year... I've has enough of these 110 engines!

I do have a 500 4x4 with a junk battery that snaps back even harder! So after trying to start that COLD with a broken choke cable, your wrist gets thrashed..... I know 110s are not hard to pull at all.. But after just healing from a injured wrist and a broken hand from a rm125 meeting a tree... Even working with a wrench isnt a good idea yet. So sorry bones and muscles arn't steel and rubber!
