no spark..help

heres my situation..first ill tell you, i have a 83 kawasaki klt 250, its in really great shape and last summer it would cut out no power, then wam it works good.. off and on, now finally it quit for good, no spark whatsoever.

does this sound like a coil crapping out??? i thought it was a bad connection, but nope everytihngs good i cleaned them all. i just dont know how to tell if its a coil or cdi?

i used a test light, and theres two wires going into the coil from the cdi, one is a live the other has nothing (no live or neg) its grounded through bolting to the frame, so just curious what everyone thinks it could be or how to find out, i miss my baby.

I am haveing the same exact problem with my 82 honda 200. I ended up takeing it to be worked on and when I told them my proble they told me it probley is the coil,cdi,bad connection,ignition swithch on the handlebars, or the ingition coil that is behind my pull rope. when I get it back I will let *Edited* know what was wrong with mine and maybe your will have the same problem.
