83 and 85 250r carb PIX
Seen alot of threads on what the difference between the air-cooled r carbs look like compared to the 85 86 carbs. I have an 83 250r and just got an 85 carb off ebay and its sick. Figured I should take some pix before I put it on and compare the two. I know the 83 is a 30mm and I think the 85 is like a 34mm. Was curious because on the 83 it has that number and stuff on the side thats like FPE 30 or something like that so I figured that was the size, well this new one I got says like 37 so now I'm wondering if thats just a part number or something unless this is some kind of aftermarket carb. Anyone know?
83 Honda 250R (when it runs like its supposed to)
85 Honda 350X - Just picked up 9JUL06. Needs alota work.
