Top Speed of big red 250?

Hi guys I am new here and I was just wondering what is the Top Speed of a Honda 250es big red. I was just wondering because I've been told that mine is a little faster than it should be. Thanks alot for your help. This trike is the first one that I have owned. I owned it for 2 years now. I am only 15 but my dad got me hooked when I was like 8. He had a 250sx. This site kicks *Edited**Edited**Edited**Edited**Edited*. Keep on riding!!!!!

A Big Red 250ES should top out around 55MPH with stock 25 inch tires. With 22 inch tires, about 42MPH.

I have an aftermarket exhaust, uni air filter, and speedo....back when I had the stock balloon tires on mine, I got it up to around 52...it was still climbing but I was running out of road, I'm sure it would have hit 55-57 though. I have a friend with a Yamaha big bear 400 4X4 that I have beaten several times in a drag race and when I got the Red up to 52 that time, he couldn't catch up with me to save his life...

Your friend's Big bear has issues then. My friends Big Bear 4x4 tops out right with my SX at a little more that 60mph. Stock tires as well on his big bear

Hmm, not sure...it may have issues, it's fairly new and has the stock tires on it from what I could tell...who knows.

Yeah sounds like someones Arse is larger than the others. Weight plays a huge difference. My wife can ride a SX and me on the 250ES and she will beat me big time. If we swap bikes, she will beat me big time. The bikes wont even top out at the same speed. Thats what a extra 130lbs will do to a bike.

Yeah that's true man, the guy prob. had me by about 40 lbs or so...plus the big red weighs a lot less than the big bear...that's a lot to do with it too I bet.

I ran it next to a truck and they said I hit about 60. I have Dirt Devil tires on it they are 25 inches I think I'll have to look. It's a pretty mean running machine. I raced a dirtbike I had it until he hit 6th gear.

My 85 Bigred I just got is all stock and it gets to about 60 or so. I ran it beside my cousins truck, and I also raced my buddy on his new rancher 350 and it was neck and neck for the most part. It seems somedays it will get on up to 60 or so and others it hovers in the mid 50's. i think its the carb and air temp.

these speeds are crazy and are way off.
my stock 350x only got up to around 65.
no way a stock big red 250 goes 60. (unless your towing it behing a vehicle)
i would say somewhere between 40 and 50.

redneck, you are crazy. what type of dirt bike was it? a 125 2 stroke would leave your arse so far behind on the start and never look back. he wouldnt even need to go into 6th gear to keep up with a big red. either you were racing a tiny dirt bike or the person driving is a retard.
you maybe could beat a pw 50.
