I have 2 other bw 80s i am thinking of building an 1990 the red , white , and blue one . I like the blue one because you do not see many of them , all you see is the red ones . Two days before chrismas last year i picked up 2 yamaha bw 350's , one ran and the other was a parts bike , engine locked up . Thanks , for all the good comments . Blair

I love fat cats and big wheels, looking for one myself. Are the 80's two stroke, I thought they were all 4 stroke until I found an add selling a big wheel 80 stating it was a two stroke.

based on that exhaust, I'd say there is a good chance they are 2 stroke. Very cool. What other neat stuff do you have in that garage?

LEts see the 350. Its amazing how many great machines were produced in '86 and '87....just an awesome time.

Now everything is getting so identical. All will be four stroke soon!

Those are some great looking bikes! Is there a good info site for fat cat/ big wheels. I definitely want a 4 stroke and thought they all were until I saw that BW80 add describing it as a 2 stroke. Thanks for sharing the pics!

Wow...awesome! I love my 86 Tri Z. The red and white reminds me of the exact same restore that I did on her.

    Congrads!!

I gotta throw a pic of my Z in here....I just love that color scheme!
