Digging up old threads but does anyone know who was doing these 330 engines? It seems I need a piston and I have no idea what piston was used.

Yeah I had one too. This is a stock head with an 80 mm bore with an iron sleeve. It had to of have a cylinder spacer too. But I will have to have one made when I figure out what piston I need.

I have a 300 and a 330. The 330 piston is from a jet ski. I have a brand new one in the box if you want part#s.

That may help. Is your 330 a t4 engine? If so that's the same 76 mm piston as the 300 for the t3.

Greg at Off Road Innovation would be able to answer that question. I believe he has built a few.

My 330 is for my T4 and the 300 for my T3. They are different sizes. I don't have a spare 300 to take pics of. Here's the 330.

I texted with Corey earlier and he said he did a few 330 t3's using a Polaris piston. After looking at those it was clear that's not what I have. After exploring a hunch some more I am on the hunt for a wiseco 231 p3 or p4. It turns out it is a Yamaha dt360 piston. I got the topend cheap assuming I would never find a piston for it and I may not still but I am a step closer. The last topend I had to find a piston for took 2 weeks(probably 20-25 hrs) of looking at hundreds of pistons. I nailed this one down in about 24 hrs so I'm happy about that. Thanks for trying to help rob, I do appreciate it. Now to figure out who was doing these back in the day. My guess would be klemm but there is no markings at all. I will have to get ahold of him and pick his brain I guess.

Oile has a Klemm BB T3, send him a PM. I don't remember what size it was but it is larger than mine for sure.
