    Put VP Nitro-Methane into the '86 250R!!!

We we're messing around with this machine behind the shop at lunch today and one of the guys suggested we put some Nitro in her to see what she would do.. Before we did this, it had about 1/4 tank of regular 87 octane pump fuel with some kind of stinky-burning Torco pre-mix oil in it that was mixed WAYYYY rich on oil, because this thing smoked like a freight-train going up hill....

We dumped some VP 108 octane racing fuel in her and then about 1 full quart of VP Nitro-Methane racing fuel to nearly top off the tank. We don't have any idea what the oil-fuel mix ratio is/was and to be quite honest...we just didn't care. We just wanted to see how this thing would run on this witch's-brew fuel mixture. We figured that since it was so rich on oil and it was obviously jetted wayyy rich on air/fuel ratio, it probably stood a pretty good chance on surviving....at least through the lunch hour...

Geeeez, does thing thing flat-out fly now!!!!!! It pulls the wheel in three gears and just simply screams!!! I don't really know how fast it goes now, but whatever it does, it's far too fast to be riding on the street out front here, plus the neighboring businesses probably aren't to pleased with a screaming 2-stroke going back and forth either....

We're going to put this sucker on the dyno tonite with this stuff in it to see what she'll do, so I hope it holds together until then!! What a blast!

Don't worry chris, when and if she let's go, she'll be resurected back into a real screaming, big-bore dune-burner anyway....
