oiling UNI air filters (quick question)

you do not have to oil the yellow one. only the outer one.i know ive been doing this for 20 freaking years. why oil the inner so you suck all that sticky **** in the carb (NO). clean both but only oil the outer one.

I guess after 20 years its time to change G-Man-1 ???

the manufacturer of the filters said to oil both, so thats what im going with.

Well i go with G-man. You only need to oil the outside you dont want that carb sucking in all that sticky oil.

Who the heack soaks there filter or works it in? What kind of oil are you using 10-40 valvoline? You just spray the stuff on and your done. Also all the diffrent brands of spray on oils are pratcaly the same, and probably made in the same factory just with a diffrent sticker on them.

you gota work it in with the oil in a jug wich is what i use, outer only, says for extramly dusty conditions do the inner sometimes on the labels, but i go with outside work it in and away i go.
