It all depends on the mods you have to go with it. I have seen FTZ advertise 68hp, with the 295 kit, bigger carb, porting, and a drag pipe.

^^^ 68hp!!! must be frigan scary!
I know what your saying about the mods, but you would proubly have to get mods just to handle the bigger engine anyway, re-jet, pipes.........and other crap. I wonder what there top speed would be......proubly close to 110mph! anybody know that? lol

Don't they cost like $1000? I'm assuming you're talking about the ESR ones,,, right?

Just because something puts out more ponies doesn't mean that it can go faster...

Speed has to do with gearing, the power will just get you (edit) to your top speed quicker.

He means that the power will get you to you top speed quicker.
Speed is almost entirely gearing. You can gear a 200cc 4 stroker to do 80 mph, but you'll need a tow to get started.

About the 300R cylinder, are you sure you can get one for the waterpumpers, I always thought they made them only for the a/c's.

i am still thinking about getting a esr 310 kit....awesome bargain if you ask me, you get the pro-x cylinder, piston kit, gasket kit, full port job and a 2 piece head w/ 2 domes for 1000$ even cheaper if you dont want a full port job....but i think its a steal com[ared to anyone else....

68 seems like an aweful lot to me. CT racing offers a bore and stroke combo that is 410cc's and 70 hp. They say it's for drag racing only and is not a dependable rider.

I have a CT 310, I have done a number of things to it (Head mods, carb, drag pipe). It has to be at least 60 hp. I have heard of people making over 60 hp with a honda jug. I now the pro-x (ESR,CT) jugs have amazing power, & they are super reliable. Someday I will have a 310 powervalve. I can't wait.
