Either a converted trike or someone transplanted the engine into a quad. That's a common thing to do. They never made a 350X quad.

It's probably in a 250x frame, that (sadly) was a popular conversion.

and a real easy conversion, the 350x motor is nearly a bolt in job, also the 350x swingarms and rear shock are real popular items to use in the 250x/300ex chassis

I used to race with a kid that had a 350X engine in a 250R quad. That dominated 4 stroke back then.

up until about 98 you could buy a frame from lsr, roll, walsh, aerens???? that had 250r geometry, used 250r parts, but was made to house a 350x mtor, it had mounts for the oil cooler and such. Just like they do now for the crf/yzf/ktm 450/520 motors.

Speedbump had a decent frankenquad with an X motor in his 300EX. Only way he could beat me back then. He sold/traded it a while ago. Easy conversion. He started to put the 300EX engine back in the 350X chassis...would have been cool with reverse. He never finished it. Sold the roller I think.
