    Exclamation A 300ex beats a raptor 350 in a shoutout by dirtwheels!LOL

I find it hilarious that a quad that has been mechanicly unchanged since 1993(300ex) could beat a brand knew quad with 66cc's more engine(raptor 350)! Dirtwheels had a shoutout a while back and the 300ex won. The only catogory I believe it lost in was in a flat out drag, and not by much! No offense to you yamaha riders but don't you find that kinda pathetic? The raptor should have crushed the 300ex, instead it got spanked itself? In my mind that just proves how Honda still has a big edge on yamaha. Honda led the way with the first trikes and they are still with a quad that has less power than the competition! you have to admit, that funny!

have you ever drove both? the raptor(warrior) handles like crap. the ergonomics are all off. the 300ex is a big improvement over the raptor. just a little slower.

The raptor 350 (warrior) has been around longer then the 300ex.
They started making that quad in 87.

the 350 raptor is not the warrior, it is shorter and better suspension or so it says, many people have to realize the warrior was discountinued and not a jazzed up raptor lookin thing, only thing the warrior has in common with the raptor is i believe the engine, carb and rear end other then that its a new quad

    still, 66 more cc's

I have ridden both. The raptor does handle like a turd. even if the warrior engine came first, it stills has 66 more cc's! And it still can't beat the 300ex! hahaha

The 350 raptor is exactly a jazzed up warrior. Same motor, brakes, and shocks sounds damn close to me. They changed the geometry a little and gave it a raptor look.

Actually they both have been around since 1987. Todays 300EX is the same quad as the old 250X, except that the 300EX has 40 more cc's, a smaller carb, and electric start. The 300EX's rear plastic still has the kick starter indentation from the 250X days on it. Warrior, Raptor 350, call it whatever, the 300EX will out handle it anyday.

Might as well left it a 250 if your just gonna put a smaller carb on it, should make for easy mods to get more hp.

    Very true and I'd still take a 250x over a raptor 350.

the "raptor" 350 has the same frame, different carb, exhaust, supsension, handle bars, grips and tires. Other than those, they are exacty alike. 300ex out handle warriors in the woods hands down.

I used to ride a 300ex. I loved the thing. It handled pretty dang good if you asked me. It was nothing to throw it around. And the wheelies...don't get me started! (look at my avator)
