Do you have an updated version of windows media player Louis? Open it, start, programs, accessories, entertainment, windows media player. Come back here and save the movie to your computer somewheres, switch back to media player, go to file>open and then find the file and try opening it that way and see what happens. Its weird, I dont have any problem with them and neither are a few other guys?

I must ne special then. I have the most updated version out there. Becouse of my sound card being inop, i can not get them to work. I will try that complicated sounding list of instructions you gave my Billy and see what happens.

Latest wm player and the latest divx codecs are all you guys should need.
Edit: unless you're running into some kind of goofy video card or sound card driver bug. Might update those as well if nothing else fixes it.
