Could someone verify the position of the plastic jet holder on a 81 185s for me? Does the umbrella go towards the carb or the bowl. What does it actually do anyway? Thanks

i throw them out of the carb. they are a pain the butt to get back into position and stay there.
not sure what they really do ,,,

Teaching quads a lesson
They are supposed to keep the fuel from splashing around the main jet, that way the main jet will always be submerged in gas. I usually put them back in but they are pretty gay if you ask me.
