honda 250es, ozark 250, or bear tracker 250

which one is the best out of all of them. i need some room i am 6'5''. will the 250 be enough? all i do is ride along trails, so top spead isnt a must have, also i want one that will last for ever. after reading the specsk im thinking of the ozark. o and all of these would be like 2002 or 2003. so im gettting a newer one. so if u have ever road or seen oany of these quads let me no what u think of them.

its a '02, the power isnt bad for being a 250, i know for a fact it blows away a same year bayou (dad has a bayou also). i think they are the perfect little machine. small enough to be light and nimble but still has plenty of low end grunt

my freind has 3 2002 bear trackers and they are great atvs. they handle trails brilllaintly and can get some speed up to, they are also small enough to hit the tighter small trails. in the woods it can match my freinds 04 foreman 450es.

Recons are awesome 250cc machines, they are on the small side though. For a little more money, you can go for a Rancher which is an awesome wheeler which will last a very long time with little maintenance. We've had one for over 2 years with absolutely no problems.

You are too big for all of them ..... I second the Rancher - Although my friend George has a Rancher AT (push button manual shifter) and its an excellent machine - except for they have a wierd safety on the transmission where if it stalls out, you can't restart it unless its in neutral. The kicker is, you cant shift the machine unless its running - so you have to unpack the "manual" shifter wrench, hook it onto the tranny shaft, then ratchet the shifter until you find neutral.

I have a 1998 250 recon with a K&N filter and big gun pipe. I'm 6'3 and size wise, it fits me perfect. I only wish it had more power because I'm used to riding big bore dirtbikes. It has a good power for a 250 though. Dependancy wise, it is bullet proof. I was going up a rutty hill climb, got it sideways, and rolled it end over end more times than I can count. It bent the rear rack and rotated the handlebars back some, but when I got back down to it, the thing was still running. I finished the ride, and when I got home, rotated the bars back and bent the rack back into shape, and I was back in business, good as new.

the bear tracker is just a newer timberwolf, so that right there should be able to tell you that its relaiable as that thing has been around since the early 90's
a freind of mine has a recon 250 and its decent but dosnt have the power of the bear tracker, wich 2 neighbors next to me each have a timber wolf and the other has 2 new bear trackers, and Ive ridin them all and the bear tracker is alot faster than my buddies recon

edit: I have no clue about the ozark, if it uses the same motor as the lt 250 than its the fasted of the bunch, but im unsure.
