    Yamaha Yt175 rebuild project

I picked up an 82 Yamaha yt175 that has a blown top and bottom end, I have heard that dt175 engine parts will interchange with the yt175 and certain years of an it175 will interchange. What I want to know is what years of dt175 and it175 parts will interchange. I have also heard yamaha blaster parts will interchange but am not sure what parts exactly. I will need a crank and bearings, cylinder and piston.

I also have a Yamaha yt125 that needs crank seals and possibly a top end (90psi compression). Do the yt175 and yt125 share the same bottom end parts? Crank seals bearings etc...

I don't have all of these answers for you but I can tell you that the IT175 has the counter shaft exiting the right side of the crankcase and the Blaster 200 has the counter shaft exiting the left side of the crankcase.
These are pretty big differences so research this thoroughly before buying a parts bike or spare engine.
