Seized bolts holding up progress on my ‘83 250r resto

Well as expected, my swing arm pivot bolt is seized up solid. So is the bottom shocker link. I have the frame on its side now with plenty of penetrant soaking overnight. Fingers crossed it loosens up. Thinking I’ll have to use some heat on it because it hasn’t budged at all after some serious hits with a heavy . I’m worried about applying heat using a propane torch with the engine being so close. Should I be worried? Any tips?

These are notorious for this. I wish you the best of luck. Sometimes cutting it is easier and then trying to source another bolt or have one turned up by a machinist. You should be ok applying heat in any case.

What are you using for penetrating oil? Hopefully not WD40.....
