Help identifying what I bought so I can fix it!

I don’t want to bore anyone so I’ll try and keep this short. I bought a Honda three wheeler yesterday for what I hoped was a deal and I am having problems identifying what exactly I got. The guy I bought it from was little to no help so I have spent the last 24 hours trying to figure it out myself. It runs but the sprockets were shot and the chain isn’t to great either so I have not ridden it quite yet but I’m super excited to get to building this thing up! So far I believe this is a 1981 Honda ATC185s but trying to find sprockets I’m second guessing myself “vin” off the fork tube is TB0100BC141406 from what I can make out. I will be attempting to add pictures but I am new to forums. Thank you!

Here's some facts as I understand them. This also means that I could be wrong. This is also assuming that it's all stock. 1981's had a rectangle headlight with the on/off switch on top of the headlight housing. They had the kill switch on top of the throttle housing. They still had the manual compression release on the upper, right side of the head.
The 1982's had a headlight with no on/off switch. It was on a combination switch on the left handlebar. The throttle housing didn't have a kill switch. It was on the combination switch on the left handlebar. I've been told that 1982 was a changeover year and you could have either a manual compression release or the automatic, cable operated one.
Neither one had any suspension. The 1983 models had front suspension. They also has one piece rear fenders that came off with the seat attached. They didn't have a trunk. The 200S had a trunk, but the 185S didn't. If the seat comes off separately from the fenders, and the rear fenders are two separate pieces, then you have a full size model. The one year only 1980 ATC185 had a round headlight with the on/off switch on top. The 1981 ATC200 had a rectangle headlight with the switch on top and the kill switch on the throttle housing. The 1982 ATC200 has the combination switch on the left handlebar like I mentioned for the 185S. The 1983 ATC200, the last year of them, had front suspension. None of the others had any suspension. All of the 185s and the ATC200s were pull start only.
I couldn't find your VIN online during a quick search, but I hope that some of these other facts will help narrow it down for you.

That is actually extremely helpful! Unfortunately I don't have a headlight to go off of but as for the kill switch it is on the left of the handle bar along with some other switches that i cannot make out what they are. Also I have attached images of what I'm working with.

I would call it a mutt , several years mixed in there . But with those rear fenders it’s a 185s 1981/82 , oh and a 200s seat lol .

Classic case of somone needing a trike and being so excited they do not ask seller anything. Its a 185s mostly. Time to live and learn like we all did

I'd say that someone got all the goofy out of those sprockets.

I just swapped a 85 200s rear axle in my 83 185s that sprocket looks the same. When I get home tonight I'll measure the mounting holes.

Sorry forgot to measure those axles. I measured bolt to bolt center its 2 1/2 on 200s and 2 1/8 on 185s. The 185s studs should have a smaller set of threads on the end of the studs.
