Remade 81-82 atc250 shock shaft, old one was pitted and got the 400ex / BR brake pedal all done. I had a new weld on frame post made and 16mm ID oil lite bronze bushing from mcmaster-carr were used.

Shock done and serviced by kb5. Turned out pretty good. Building muffler to header tube next. Motor cases mocked up in frame for final check.

Lots done since last update. Lots more to do. Really turning out pretty slick. Sold 250R redone rear shock as it was too stiff and redid a 300ex front shock instead. Now it's like a marshmallow to match the 200m front end.

Is your swingarm pivot point going to be to far away from the countershaft ? Not sure if this was brought up yet ?

nope, measured and checked everything before I started. There were multiple test fits before welding in final placement and powder coat There was no room to put it inside the frame. The shock angle and distances match the trx200sx I have.

There is 4" of travel in the rear. I am planning to run heavy 6ply 22's in rear. Not 25's I think they were overkill on these motors but we will check that before we buy tires too.

Here is more I did. Removable steering stem like the sport trikes so I can get bearings and races on easier. Aluminum battery boy mounted in BR trunk. I'm trying to make this 83 more like a 250SX. I have $438.00 into this machine.

If you look close i removed HI/LO trans off the BR motor since It was a stupid design of taking 4 cases off to replace front sprocket. Later i plugged and welded up all the cases after I cut all the cast mounts for the Hi/Lo trans off. I cant pull start anything so i made a billet alum engine pull start block off cover. Even added a center plug like a 200x to reach the crank bolt to easily adjust timing. I have 2 of everything and a full spare motor with Hi/lo yet. The 1st set of trans gears and shaft i swapped in 200m so I could run a nice easy bolt on sprocket like all the other hondas.

My 2015 rancher 420 IRS does not even have Hi/lo or needs it. This bad boy will haul beer and sausage + hot dogs.

Kinda getting carried away with pushing myself to do things no one else is doing.

Very cool mate, doesn’t seem to many cool builds like this on the boards these days. Place is very quiet compared to what it used to be. Thanks for the updates I’ve been watching.

I think its all on FB. But I do not really like FB. Them groups are full of mucho stupidness.

Here's the rear. V treads are off my blaster for climbing so my new 22's did not show up net. This thing does not 25's out back. Until I am done it will be more like a 250SX. Most parts are just made. I can make them cheaper than buying used over priced junk.

I have a tad over $400 into this machine which is registered, plated and titled. I did have to buy plenty of them to part them out however.

I cut up a BR front fender to match up to the 200M tree. It was a good bit narrower.

Showed my wife the photo with the rack on and she asked why I needed another utility 4x4.....i said you do realize this was a utility 3wheeler....

    More fat kid cake.

Not shure if I am sold on front skinny wheel conversion. However before I can pick which front wheel assembly I want, I need to lift the front end. The bottom on the tree is just touching the top of the works now. This was my fear I needed lift to visually look the part with the rear...a bit more machining and welding yet.

Building a sport trike is cake compared to utility.

ordered a 25x12-9 front knobby for the redone OEM front 9" rim. Not sold on the skinny wheel yet. Also cam up with a 3.2" lift for the front I'll make since I was not giving $180 to swamp outlaw when I know I can make it for a few bucks. That will set the tone for the 300ex front rotor conversion, trx200sx front master cylinder and yz426f front caliper I have. New stainless axle bushing will need made and a link arm built to mount the caliper but its all up in my head right now. Building a utility make a sport-trike look like cake work.
