    81r

    Hey everyone quick question, on my 81r will I need to change the triple clamps if I use 200x or 2nd gen R forks ?

    200X 1ST GEN YES, 2ND gen not a bolt on and even if it was you dont want 9inch travel up front and 3 in the rear.

    I was thinking the 200x would. Thanks ! I got another question for you or anyone who wants to chip in. Any way to run disc brakes on a 81 frame ? The roller I got had a entire 82 rear end setup on the 81 frame

    weld on two threaded tabs to the frame and run a master cylinder. You can get rid of all the drum stuff, ive done it on other machines, its not hard. You'd need a flange made to weld to the 81 swinger

    So since I posted this I've came across a 1st gen 200x master cylinder tab I'm going to tack on and paint.. should be good to go after that since everything else is there . I appreciate the response tho brotha
