It’s not flexible and won’t work on anything soft, but it’s great for things like a broken tab on a car dash vent adjuster, or a cracked grill. Basically if you can make a mark in the plastic by pressing really hard with your finger nail the repair is not going to work.
I’m not sure what they tell you in those videos you have watched, but I basically apply the baking soda onto the cracked area and then let a drop of crazy glue drip onto it. You can do it in reverse as well, but I prefer to control the repair by manipulating the powder. If you drip the glue on first and then try to apply the powder it can get kind of messy. There is also a plume of vapor that comes off upon initial contact. I don’t know what exactly that consists of, but I recommend you get your head out of the way and don’t breathe it in.
It sucks to get old
that's good to know, I've got a couple tabs broken on my 71 camaro instrument cluster. jim
