Tri Zinger 60 no spark

I have a 84 Tri zinger 60 that i just picked up. Cleaned up the cab and got it running when the 3 position switch is in start mode, but the second i changed the switch to run mode it dies. I checked spark and as expected it has great spark in start but no spark in run mode. I ohmed the switch and all position on the switch are working, anyone have any suggestions or seen this problem before, is the CDI box possibly bad?

it's happening to my tri-zinger at the moment.... i canot figure out what it is...
