1985 Suzuki 125 - Orginal Owner - Should I buy for $500?

The original owner (near me) is selling this Suzuki quad. It's in great shape for the age. Only thing it needs are brake shoes and adjustment. I'm not interested in buying it to keep, though. Could I flip it do you think? Buy it for $500 and sell it for ____?

I’d say $500 would be what is worth max, I’d give $300 just for a parts machine for my Suzuki alt185.
To flip it to make $ I’d pass on that.

That little quad/old quad stuff doesn't sell well around me in southern Kentucky/Tennessee. Expect $350-500 resale

They will pay $1500 for an ATC70 but that's about it. Even newer kids quads like kfx90 are usually around $900-1100

fixing to sell to flip is a waste. I bought m wife a $7000 engagment ring buy only buying blown up parts bikes to later sell within 1 hour - 1 week 5 years ago. I didnt do anything else but move junk to a different location. Ive learned to only waste time and money on what you want to keep. Everything else is worth money in parts more, even a running ATC lol. Now days i buy anything if its popular under $500, ill rob parts off or swap part out sell stash parts in my lofts just for future winter time killing. Blasters and 300ex's are pretty popular yet with kids blowing them all up and needing it gone ASAP...those are you great sellers!
