    200x fender swap....

Hey just curious.. who has ever used different rear fenders on a 200x? Looking at options. I’d love low profiles but they are def hard to source at the moment.. I ve seen old photos of bikes that clearly don’t have stock fenders and wondered what’s available.. do 250r fenders work? What’s involved? What about trx250r? Or 300ex etc. anyone? Also photos would help too lol... thanks!

Here is an example.. not sure who owns this bike...but clearly these are different fenders and they don’t look bad at all.

I mounted a set of 300ex ones once. They really came up close on the rear of the foot peg. Warrior or blaster might be better.

Eh, Warrior fenders are to straight along the frame's back bone, they won't make the turn up towards the tank like the ATC fenders, Blasty fenders are gonna be similar to that same shape but have the kicker cutout too, they might look strange.

I saw an 81 250r with warrior fenders. Didn't look bad. 85-86 250r should look the coolest.

Last I heard Brian Ditch on Facebook owns the molds now. I have no idea if he's made anymore though?

How do the fiberglass fenders hold up after being rolled also are they much heavier than plastic?

They are heavier than plastic. Not sure how much. A buddy rolled his 250r with fiberglass low profile and not one crack. I haven't rolled mine and have a couple cracks near the corners. Fenders look good but to heavy imo.

All of my 70's have been rolled. Haven't cracked a fender yet.
