Most years yes. There have been a handful of years that no kids signed up to race.
For MX, the rule is up to 13 years old and up to 125cc.
For drag races, the rules are based on size of the trike, not age, so he would race based on his cc's.
Kids are the future of our sport so I always love to hear it when a new youngster shows interest in getting on the track.
