    1986/87 Honda 200x headlight “shells”

Hi all, I’m just starting a new thread so not to muck up jeswineharts great repop thread. So i figured it’s about time I did.

Ok, well i was able to do one shell today it has two “very” small air bubbles but I’m good with the color. I circled the bubbles by editing my pics (didn’t draw on the shell itself.
I’ll probably just end up doing these in small batches 2-3 times a year (time is hard to find these days) but feel free to ask for one if wanted/needed anytime, just may need to be patient. Pretty sure there won’t be a mad rush for these but knowing there available may help out a few of you.
Cost will depend on if there’s small blemishes or not but will do my best. I can do different colors too (not black at this time though) that’s a tough one.
Alright I guess that’s it, here is the red one that I did today (already sold)

Great work Shep. Absolutely put me down for a red one, no rush, just PM me the payment info and timing. Much appreciated since these are near impossible to find. I have an OE one, but it has a few small cracks, so I've been running a white 86 R Maier bezel, which looks good as well.
    Thanks,
    Kevin

I wouldn't worry about small imperfections. My Maier fenders have some small dimples in them, no big deal. Have you made any of the fuel tank guards? Those are impossible to find.

Yes I’ve got a few of those, they are (guessing) 10% softer rubber than oem though. The next level of rubber would have been to hard I think. But seem fine, do you need a couple or ten- lol Click image for larger version.

ID:	252042 just excuse the dust on them.
I’ll probably put them in the classified section on Thursday thinking like $10+2 shipping for a pair, I have no idea....

Yep I need a set. I'd take 4, just as backup. Shoot me what you want for them and how to pay .

That was the Maier one I was going to get at some point down the road then all of a sudden a tank turned into an awesome repop.......Thanks again - was such a nice gesture!
I can't wait to see a new thread from Shep down the road on that project!

Well, all the work involved to get a green headlight shell and personally I don’t like it. Fork boots have to go also.
This shell had one 1/8” deep non fill area right where the rubber strap attaches so I moved the mounting hole forward the same amount so the strength would still be there. A minute or two of dremel work it’s good to go

I’m actually starting at a low cost-40+shipping with slight air bubbles (tiny) of sorts but unless your picky are fine.
or 70 plus shipping for better condition ones. Probably not going to do any more until this Wednesday though, I have to do them when kids and wife aren’t home/ everything goes much better then.

Edit - I wasn’t planning on making very many before trikefest/like everyone else there’s lots to do before then. But we’ll
    see what happens.

    Edit once more
I’ve got about 15 people on a list- should have 4or 5 of those shells done by thurs I will be in touch if yours is one of those
