Thanks Kevin, I had it in my mind three days ago that we weren’t going (too much to do) this yr but I said that to Jaime (wife) she was a bit upset......she pushed we are going cuz it’s a Father’s Day thing and the 16th is our anniversary so yup she won. Now I gotta put extra long days in to be ready. It’ll be worth it, just wish I was already there. Have to get me some biscuits and gravy from haspin snack bar “yummy”

Last Friday’s- 12hour run, well about 20mins prep/pour with about 1-1/2 hr demold time (each). I wanted to try a clear one but ran out of mix/ until next batch. I added a couple more vents in the mold to realease trapped air, only one has a very small void on an edge. Two or three of these will be for sale on this site(when done). The wife’s putting one on eBay, others are already sold to good folks on 3ww. Now I have to drill them.

I know there’s a atleast two shells out there that weren’t prepped/drilled by me, I just wanted to post the tools I use to help those two shells-

    15/64 drill bit for pins
3/8 for glass mounting (two rear of glass)
    7/16 for outer hole
A dremel cutter bit about 3/8 round cutter end

Drill holes/ I start with a power drill (low speed) and finish by twisting bit by hand cuts fast w/sharp bit
Outer hole 7/16 bit doesn’t go all the way through (leave about 1/8 plastic so pins lock in)
15/64 I start with this- drill straight through carefully (pin shaft size)

The dremel bit I lock it at bottom of 7/16 cut/spin around hole (shaft won’t let it cut deeper than needed)
Reset dremel saw in thickness of blade/push into tool so now u have a wider groove for rubber strap piece that pushes in

Hope this helps and makes sense.....
I won’t sell anymore without prepping first, it’s not easy. But doable

I’ve got a good one put aside for you.....
I just have to drill it though, prob this wk end.

Work should slow down around/before x-mas and I’ll probably do a double batch this time. Already have about 6/7 people that want em. Just need time and will have more when winter gets here- been a non-stop year work wise. I need a vacation.

Awesome...no rush. I was thinking of selling the 200X and just keeping the 250R, but decided to keep both...hard to sell them after you've put so much time and money into re-storing them...lol. Plus there is always a lot of interest but everybody wants them for a steal.

Hey Shep, did you get around to drilling that shell out or making another batch? Just touching base, I sorta forgot about it and haven't really messed with either of my trikes for the last couple months.
    Thanks,

    Thanks,
Sorry guy, no I haven’t yet- I still have yours and another one here promised out. I have to pour another mold in the next couple wks for something else, that’ll get me motivated into the plastics again. I’ll try to get it done on Sunday (gotta work Saturday).
