Way to go Champ! As I recall it was a 1 race semi hush hush event not a full year multi event points series or am I wrong? Not to take away from the win or the push for a needed new class. It by far is the funniest looking matched class offered to any skill rider, siding toward the recruitment of new 1st time racers. Lap times are measured by sundial and the field becomes seperated quickly by skill alone. When the light goes green you can enjoy a quick tea by the time the field hits the sweeper. You can clearly battle at safer speeds so it will lend itself as a great way to experance being in a mad dash to the frist corner and racing in a group. Tim has the bullseye on his back but that comes with that #1 plate for 2018.
Not bashing here just not sure I'd go with National Champ on a solid win in a new first time class. It does look like this is to be an additional class this coming season so kudos for that. So if the plate fits run it, my option really means little. It's the bigger picture of future riders to once again out number entries in less classes at a Quad National.
Tim: Link for front rim ? Has that gained any traction?
Steve: Rims are not in yet. 1st batch sold out quickly, so I am sure these will also.
The way I see it, it was at a National Event, and we had our own class, and it was the only race of the year for that class, so yes, I will claim the title "National Champion". Probably the only time in my life I am able to do so!
Also - our lap times were not really that much slower than other classes. I think we were only like 4 seconds off other classes if I remember correctly. Not Pro times or nothing, but other classes.

if you had a yt 175 i dont think a 200s would have a chance
Wait. The non suspension atc 185 and 200. Have wider axles than the 185s and 200s ?
Do I get a weight allowance for my 84 200es????? Like in horse racing...
Tim thanks so much for the New front rim! It gonna look killer and best of all function for a long time. Scoop em' up boys!

Pick up what I believe is a 81 185s the other day to built into a flat track play toy. From what I'm reading on here the rear axle from a 1980 185 and 1981-83 200 is wider?? Assuming the 200m and 200e would also be the same wider axle as well. This is news to me I figured the extra width came from the rims and tires. Can the wider axle be swapped over to the 185s?
