    ATC90 Wiring

I have had to rewire my 1978 Honda ATC90 and have an extra DG wire. In looking at the wiring diagram, it appears there are two DG wires going to the condenser one from the points and the other coming from the front headlight area but there is only one DG wire coming out of it. Any help would be appreciated.

it sounds like you are missing the original headlight or the head light switch which also acts as a kill switch. you have a green wire coming from the headlight and headlight switch merging into one and going to the kill switch, then continuing to the green wire with tube on the condensor. the other wire on the condensor goes to the points and to the ignition coil. I will include the wiring diagram for your model if it will help understand what I am saying for you. Click image for larger version.

Thanks for the information. So if I understand it correctly, the green highlighted wire in the picture just needs to be grounded at the condenser and doesn't really connect to it? Could it just be grounded to the frame up closer to the kill switch? Click image for larger version.
