I've been doing it since I was a kid and I hope my son carries on the tradition. Nothing fancy here. Just an old oil drum evaporator and some milk jugs hanging off trees. Oh yeah and a ton of labor. I ask my self every year "why do I do this?"
Then the smell hits me. Have you ever smelled a gallon of fresh maple syrup boiling??? It really "sticks" with you.

Reassembling my all winter long project at my parents house. Dad is starting to worry about fitting mowers in the garage since this is still all apart. Good excuse to hang out with my parents though, my garage is full and this one never left their house.

I've been watching that one...Only $500-600 to move it across the country 😁

Depending what R your after, zillas are still pretty reasonable at the moment considering their uniqueness. Maybe grab one sooner then later..

I agree....... especially compared to so many Rs around.

I don't like to spread "scuttlebutt".......and I have no personal knowledge but a guy local to me who purchased some Mitchells from me dealt with those guys before. He said they slap things together and use a gallon of armoral.......those were the kinder words. They have 100% positive feedback so they seem fine. I don't know....... I do know this.........unmolested original examples of these machines are starting to have less sightings than UFOs.

No maple syrup around these parts, only sugar cane

How long does it take to cook down?

Hi Fellas... I picked up a 06 YZ125. It has been neglected . I'm giving the treatment to get it back to where it should be.

    Tightening spokes is mind numbing..
This is how I looked when I was tightening loose spokes...

    Nice Grizzly.

Speaking of old YZ125s. .........coming soon to ebay. Ran when parked. Actually it did. Now it needs gas into the cylinder for a hint of life. Nice platform for a restoration tho.

The eBay seller atcpartsnrestoration is exactly how your local guy said. Unless I could go check it out I wouldn't get it.
