I'll snap a pic of the new table tomorrow. It's still stuffed in my station wagon, hopefully I can come up with a way to make it into an easy project. Most things I get involved with are less than simple.
Also arcade games are great, when they are working. It's always something!

When the wind died down, the sun was so intense that it gave me a headache, even with polarized dark sunglasses on. I dug it out last night (after the snow had melted and refrozen). It took about five hours, but at least it isn't frozen to the ground. I am hoping it will make a big difference with the chains on it, because it wont push anything the way it is. The hounds usually love the snow, but they didn't fancy the high winds...
Looks like it's gonna be a three dog night. My dogs are total spoiled wusses. At least they're not cats.
    Watchin b ball tonight.

Thought I'd complete one of my long term refresh projects and install a re-chromed valve cover on the '72 CB750. When the bike cover was removed this was the surprise. The gas tank is a fiberglass unit made by Tracey in the early 70's to replace the large metal tank. About 15 years ago the tank began leaking from the gas additive MTBE which dissolved and softened the resins. Sealed the inside with Caswell sealer everything OK until now. The state stopped using MTBE years ago but one can only imagine what additives are used now causing the paint to bubble and blister like this. Search now on to find a similar sized replacement metal tank.

    Love the old sohc.

I've sealed fiberglass tanks that leaked in the past........the leaks were all stopped but the solvents have long found its way into the glass itself. I've painted old bultaco tanks that did similar.

I solve the contamination problem by getting it bare then applying a coat of resin prior to a finish. If memory serves I think I used epoxy resin for one project.

Oh yea.......I do the same......I hoard all the carb cleaner

i got this one as a basket case, marlin 39a. It had ftf issues. Simple feed issue, a well spent 200$

At some point a new front sight was added

Kicking around in my parts I found a few peep sights. Drill holes already there.

I don't mind the finish issues. It is nice to have a 22 that u don't mind getting kicked around. I am just on the hunt for a buttplate. Or maybe I will fab something up

    2000 Chevy Express 1500....4.3.

Every now and then there's a hiccup on the freeway that makes the "service engine soon" light come on. Today again.

Runs fine now. 200000 care free miles.
