I made the rear mount adjustable (I drilled the hole 1/8 inch off the first time) thats ok though it made mounting it easier I think.Click image for larger version.

Several weeks ago we went backwards on a test and tune on one of our bored and stroked 90's. Today I got back to it. I switched out the jetted 110 carb to a 22 ml mikuni. Switched out one big cam ( brand unknown) for a big arse Rocky cam. Readjusted ignition timing. Got it to fire did a WOT test checked plug, looks to be a bit lean, timing is still off a tooth. Mixture screw is 1.5 turns out .. test went great, great mid to upper range power telling me my 100 main jet is right on. Idle seemed a bit eradic but by adjusting the throttle cable got it to calm down. It acts like I have a air leak somewhere, idle is still a bit touchy. I have the rubber oring between the carb and powroll intake am wondering if I also need a gasket. My slow jet is a 32.5, hard for me to believe I need bigger .
No real question here just contributing to the thread.

My mom's trike. She had a double knee replacement a couple years ago. Turned 70 this year. Doctors said before the knee replacement she would never golf again. My mom beat both me and my brother at golf today. We got spanked again.

I kinda "Jimmy rigged" the fuel pump on my FZR.

There is some kinda short in the wiring harness causing the pump to get hot and fail and cause a weak spark condition causing poor performance. So......instead of fixing it properly I just wired a fused switch from the battery straight to the pump.

I wanna ride up next to you on the highway and hit the switch just for fun.

Nice looking old FZR. 1987? 88?

Is that survivor condition or did you rehab it? That was my dream bike in college. Probably because I knew a hot chick who had one.
