    Trike MX Orlando FL

The Florida ATC Syndicate is having its first race this sunday, the 11th, at Orlando Mx Park. It's $45 to race, gates open at 7, practice at 8 and motos start at 10. 2 moto format. If anyone needs additional info PM me and I'll put you in touch with the people running it. I'm racing a borrowed 350x and will be meeting a lot of new people, it's going to be a great day!

The race went off great, we had 17 mostly first time riders come out to put on a show. I've been to dozens of trike races over the years but the attention of the crowd at this one blew every other one away. When we were on the gate for the first moto people were lined up along the fence and standing in the bleachers. Even the track official was taking video. I've never seen anything like it, we were a huge hit with the vintage mx crowd. Thw race went so well that the vintage mx series we ran with invited us to race their whole series! Once i get the scheduale ill post it up.
The track was great for beginners, the sand made sliding easy and most of the jumps were table tops. There were a couple wrecks but both man and machine survived. It was great to come out and race with an generous, enthusiastic group of guys, I can't wait till the next race. Here's some photos

Great pictures guys. The track looks awesome, and thankfully for #13... soft

The 200x's seem to be doing quite well in that company. Although I shouldn't be surprised, I did a pony express race in WA (Western Australia) way back in 2001/2 on a 660 raptor and there was one guy on a 200x, and through the slower part of the course he more than held his own. Just goes to show there's a big difference between bench racing, and actual racing.

Looks like you guys had a lot of fun, which is the aim of the game on 33 year old machines. Can someone please donate a helmet peak, and a Rear fender to rider 77.
