Anybody use these tires? Will I be sacrificing a lot of power with the 2 inch oversize?

I'm new and also just kinda trying to get to the magic 10 post summit. But, when you don't have any useful info to provide its kinda tough to get there. I can however say that I have seen substantial performance loss with big heavy tires on atv's, specifically Honda ranchers usually. Would imagine it would be worse on something with less than have the displacement engine

Right now I have 30 pound 25 inch vampires on one of my 250s, and the x lites are about the same weight. Im mainly trying to get some extra lift and have some aggressive tires. Would 27x9x12 tires be bad for the rear? I know they're narrow but then that's less weight.

That narrow tire is going to pull less mud, so it should be easier to turn in thick mud. Probably a good compromise. But there's lots of guys around here running 27's. In my opinion it depends what you weigh, me at 300lb I can't sacrifice much power. (Me+cooler+gear may be 350lb) If your under 200 you probably can especially if you don't pull trailers and stuff much.

I'm only 170 so that wouldn't be an issue. I have a wheeler for hunting/working and everything and this wheeler would be mainly for mud, water, and joy riding.
