    Extreme Dirt Drag Racing

Have raced my blown/injected 3 wheeler back in the early 80' and recently helped my son's good friend race a Top Fuel Dragster at sand drags, seen all types, trikes, quads, dirt bikes, buggies, many 4 wheeled vehicles but nothing this extreme. Hard enough to run these bikes on asphalt 1/8 or 1/4 mile drags can't imagine running on dirt.

I saw those for the first time just a few days ago, but it was a TF sand drag bike with a massive rear paddle tire. Insane! Spend 100K on a bike and race it in the dirt? Hell why not, Florida Swamp buggy racers have done crazier things. I was surprised that only one or two of the bikes had knobbed front tires. How TF would you apply the front brake on one of those with a smooth tire and 700# going ???mph on dirt??? I could be talked into driving one, but only if the shut down area was lined with goose down feathers and a hospital. Seems to me the crazy sh*t would happen on those things after you chop the throttle.

It would have been a lot cooler if they did water pit burnouts too!
