Honda hubs on a Kawasaki?

My rear wheels are essentially shot on my KLT250. Massive pitting, the outer rim edge is rusted through and they only hold air with tubes installed. Anyways.

What are the chances that honda hubs fit on my KLT? (since 4x4" is a stupid rare bolt pattern, and I can't find replacement wheels). Anyone done this?

Look for Polaris rims/wheels. Early 90s polaris trailboss. Im sure tons of others will fit. I've got a set that bolt up to my klt..and my 84 tecate.

I see that the trail boss, and a couple other Polaris's may work. None have the correct rim size, but I'm looking at new tires anyways. My original question still stands if someone can answer if the hubs themselves interchange with something common.

Also. I challenge anyone to go googling ATV 4/4" or 4 on 4" bolt patterns, and come up with something other than 4x4 -whatever rims, and avoid ripping your hair out... infuriating.

Hubs are tricky, nothing to really cross reference. Rim's are much easier.

All KLT(all engine sizes) rims will bolt up.
Tons of Polaris rims.

If you want a real challenge, try to find rims that fit an artic cat (2000 250cc 2x4)... that aren't artic cat

4 TIMES 25.4mm equals 101mm so it is 4x101 so I would guess 4x100 would also work.

MY guess is those coarse spline hubs are the same as the 1985 KXT250 Tecate with 4 on 156mm pattern. If my guess is correct this is your only hub option but not if you want to run a 9" tire because 4x156 doesnt allow that.

So buy some blaster rims or somethin , lots of models have 100 and 101 pattern

one of these days, I want to make a jig to allow me to drill a 2nd set of holes.

Design it to bolt to the current pattern on a tire, and then have offsets perfectly lined up for a different pattern.. This may be 1 of my first projects with the 3d Printer once it comes in.

they kind look like 1984 Tecate hubs but I think the studs used on them are larger than what is on newer atvs like Blasters so you have to use a drill/reamer/endmill and ream the hole to fit the studs anyway.

I have put honda hubs ona yamaha, and yamaha hubs on a honda,and a klt 200. the yamaha hubs onto a honda is a tight fit as yamaha has slightly taller splines, but they will fit. so your options are anything you want for hubs the yamaha hubs went on nicely to the kawasaki and the tri-z uses a 4X100 bolt pattern. Unless your splie pattern is different then a 83 klt 200 a4a you shouldn't have any problems.

Just about any solid axle rear polaris rim is 4x4. IRS models are 4x156. If you absolutely can't find anything else and still refuse to use what is available, well that's your own problem. I'm assuming you want to use honda hubs with a 4/110 pattern, I tried to find hubs that swapped over to my klt 110 but couldn't find anything unfortunately.

Thanks guys. I now know what to check out. I'm not being stubborn or anything like that, but where I live, there are virtually no 3-wheelers around. The ones that are around, are hondas, hence the reasoning for my desire for a honda hub swap. (Quite a few of them being parted out nearby).

Anyways, I'll post up when I get proper rims, or come up with a hub solution.
